  1. Put the walnut kernels, parmesan and olive oil into a small blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Slice the cherry tomatoes and divide them between the sandwiches. Add the duck breast slices with the fat trimmed off and cover with two slices of goat cheese.

  3. Add a little of the chopped chives to finish. Top with another piece of bread.
